Our graduate program is structured into two Areas of Concentration (AC) – Physical Therapy and Physical Education, each one organized into Lines of Research (LR), with research and community projects, always focusing on Rehabilitation and Functional Performance and considering possibilities for future expansion, including other health professionals (Physical Educators, Speech-Language Pathologists, and Occupational Therapists), who could consolidate new areas of interest.

The Lines of Research (LR) aim to approach professional training, relating it to clinical practice and clinical and experimental research.

Offered in Portuguese or English, the disciplines provide academic support for teaching and research activities, contributing to the graduate student’s scientific training.

Our faculty has a close relationship with the Undergraduate Courses in Physical Therapy and Physical Education and Sport offered at the Ribeirão Preto/USP campus. Additionally, there are opportunities for collaboration with other health professionals. The General Hospital at USP, the facilities of the Medical School, and the Ribeirão Preto School of Physical Education and Sport provide modern infrastructure for experimental studies and research.
